Forward–backward multiplicity distribution with the Chou–Yang model for <i>pp</i> collisions at s = 0.9, 7 and 8 TeV from the CMS experiment

In this paper, a Chou–Yang-type multiplicity distribution comprising total component and binomial asymmetry is used to describe charged hadron data at [Formula: see text] = 0.9, 7 8 TeV from the CMS experiment CERN. The was obtained processed CERN Open Data Portal. For component, it found that weighted superposition of Negative Binomial Distribution (NBD) Furry–Yule (FYD) able shoulder-like structure characteristic Koba–Nielsen–Olesen (KNO) scaling violation well. mean cluster size produced collisions also increase with collision energy. A prediction given for pp 14 TeV.
